Who can resist this ooey gooey cheesey with sauce! Makes a great substitute for pasta as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces whole-milk mozzarella cut in 8 slices
  • 2 egg whites beaten
  • 1 13 cups finely grated Parmesan
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups marinara warmed

Directions

  1. Dip mozzarella in egg whites; coat with Parmesan. Freeze 20 minutes. In skillet, heat olive oil over medium. Cook cheese until golden, 2 minutes per side. Serve with marinara.
