Green Chili & Tomatillo Salsa2016-03-03
- 1⁄2 lb. tomatillos husks removed
- 1 jar Mezzetta Hot Fire-Roasted Green Chili Peppers with Lime Cilantro & Garlic, drained with some juice reserved
- 1⁄4 c. diced red onion
- 1 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
- Preheat oven to broil.
- Place tomatillos on a sheet tray and place under the boiler for about 5 minutes, keeping a close eye and watching for black blisters forming. Turn tomatillos over and blister other side. Remove from oven and place into a food processor. Pulse processor until pureed. Add in green chilies and pulse to desired consistency. Pour into a medium mixing bowl and stir in onion and cilantro.
